"Welcome to the Future" - On 17/03/2022 Heidelberg will present the new Speedmaster CX 104 with IST UV and show the latest packaging innovations to around 100 customers from the Middle East in the Baden-Württemberg House at EXPO 2020. Customers will be able to discuss market trends and the latest innovations in the packaging world with experts from Heidelberg and IST METZ.
The Speedmaster CX 104 opens up completely new possibilities - right up to navigated or autonomous production. This is ensured by intelligent support systems such as Intellistart 3 and the unique Intelliline.
Zeid Al Jehni, General Manager of Heidelberg Middle East, welcomes all participants and is pleased about their valuable participation from the Middle East region, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain.
Dr David Schmedding, Global Head of Sales & Marketing at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, will explain the versatility of the Speedmaster CX 104, which with its new format can easily handle all materials from lightweight paper to board for packaging. "Even in the high-performance range with a speed of up to 16,500 sheets per hour, the CX 104 impresses not only packaging professionals but also commercial and label printers," he added.
Holger Kühn, sales manager at IST METZ, will explain that UV adds a third dimension to printing requirements. As one of the world's leading suppliers of drying and UV curing systems, IST METZ will showcase unique solutions for packaging and high-end commercial printing on all substrates, including paper, metallised board and plastics such as PP, PE, PVC, PET and transparent films.
